Washington Parish Public Transit Ride Guide

COMMENT AND COMPLAINTS

Washington Parish Public Transits' goal is to provide excellent service to meet passenger's needs. In order to satisfy this goal, we welcome any comments customers may have regarding service delivery. Should you have a complaint, the
following should be followed:

  • You will be informed in writing at initial service contact of the complaint procedure and your right to utilize the procedure.
  • Present your complaint in writing to the Executive Director of the Washington Parish Council on Aging within 30 calendar days of the date of the complaint.
  • The Executive Director will review the complaint with you within 14 calendar days of receipt.
  • You will be notified of the Executive Director's decision in writing within 10 days.
  • lf you are not satisfied with the Director's response, you have the right to appeal to the Washington Parish Council on Aging Board of Directors.
  • The Board will address this appeal during a board meeting. All parties will be issued their written decision within 7 days of the meeting.

Washington Parish Public Transit will not directly or through contractual or other arrangements, discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin or handicap it: the provision of services.
